Without a doubt, it was the perfect environment for someone like me, who loves nature, silence and freedom. As I grew, they also did it with me in their jobs, and we moved to Inca, for greater comfort for all. That gave me the opportunity to get to know the area and the island in general very well, since as I have said before, I am an explorer and I love to visit landscapes, historical sites, and even the houses of my friends.
During my childhood I changed houses a couple of times, that allowed me to continue maturing and growing in different environments. The last house, before my now home, we returned to a beautiful farm when my brother was very little, and there we also had the arrival of my two sisters. Without a doubt, they have also had the great opportunity to connect with me and my roots, even getting the whole family to have a garden 😊 And why do I tell you all this? Evan is a chartered surveyor MSCSI MRICS with over 25 years experience of working in the global property market.
These qualifications take over 6 years to complete and are annually scrutinised by CPD (Continuous Professional Development) by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors RICS and Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland SCSI.
After completing a 2.1 honours business degree (BBS) in Dublin, Ireland in 1997, Evan went to Sydney Australia aged 22 and joined Macquarie Merchant Bank.
After a phenomenal year working for Macquarie Merchant Bank as their “IT Asset Manager” unfortunately “Visa” complications meant Evan had to return to Ireland .
Evan returned to Dublin, Ireland and started working for AIB (Allied Irish Banks ) but quickly realised it wasn’t his love or passion.
So , Evan decided to follow his heart and passion and against most peoples advice he left the banking industry and began his “property’ career with the legendary Michael Turley of Turley Property Advisors.
Evan and Michael worked together for over 14 years. Amazing years.
In 2011 Evan decided during the hard Irish property recession to look at the global property world market 🌎 and to seek an alternative to the hard property domestic market in Ireland.
With Michael’s blessing Evan went to Asia.
Evan joined IP Global in Hong Kong as their Sales Director. He then moved to Singapore to run their offices there and also in Kuala Lumpar in Malaysia.
During his time at IP Global Evan gained the unbelievable value of Global Property Investments.

Thinking outside the box, Evan decided to live in Gran Canaria, España taking advantage of not only the climate of all year sun. But also technology and fibre optic wifi. Hence, allowing him to communicate with his clients anytime, anywhere and with more time for them than ever before.
Within 9 months eorproperty.com accumulated property investments in Ireland in excess of €10m on behalf of clients based in Asia.

This allowed Evan the time without “noise” and office administration distractions of “silly” meetings to deliver to his “preferred” five clients his time, more time and even more time.

By giving his elite 5 clients the time and space with a clear head away form cities and on a beach instead, a waiting list of clients quickly developed all eager to capitalise on Evan's vast knowledge and global property experience. And his time.
However, In 2020 Covid hit. It hit hard globally but in Asia and Spain it hit very hard. The uncertainty of Covid caused a world wide slow down on investments.
in 2022 Evan left Gran Canaria and moved to Inca, Mallorca and Amorproperty.es was ‘born’.

Traditionally Spanish estate agencies only pay their staff commission based on percentages on fees they generate. This can create an extreme amount of pressure and financial stress for that staff member. PURCHASING PROPERTY
Our format for potential clients is this;
If you’re considering purchasing a property in Spain, then contact us. We will arrange a face-to-face meeting (if this is not possible for those non-resident in Spain, we can arrange a video conference call).
During that first meeting we will ask you some questions to gather the information that is required to provide you with our personalised professional property advice.
We promise we will listen to you.
After the first meeting we will then email you with our “Terms of Engagement” and a brief summary / synopsis of our first meeting and your specific property requirements.
We will outline the work we will do on your behalf and give a timeline to you in how we can deliver your property requirement. Each and every email after a first AmorProperty meeting is unique to that meeting.
Our fees will be clear. Our enthusiasm will be evident to you.
PROPERTY SALES
With regards to property advice on sales we will provide very much the same service as outlined above.
The major difference will be that we will meet you at your property so we can carry out a detailed evaluation of your personal property.
We will then write to you outlining our professional advice on the marketing sale price of your property, a marketing strategy on how best to promote and market your property for sale. We will also include our “Terms of Engagement” to act as your property sales agent.
We will clearly outline our fees and all costs you will incur for the process of the sale. However, as AmorProperty is trying to be unique and different we will require exclusive sole agency on the sale of your property. No joint agency for a minimum of 2 months.
We will give a very clear timeline to you. Should we not achieve our “goal” to you with a mutually agreed and specified timeline, then you are free to move onto other agents or any other means you want to sell your property. Basically, you’re allowing us approximately 2 months to allow us to prove to you AmorProperty is the best choice to select for the sale of your property.

Evan selected 5 clients based in Asia.
Known to him personally from his time living and working previously in Asia. He discussed with them his idea and concept of his new company.
He advised them, that he would not let another client join his company until he had found their personal property investment. And delivered for them.
They liked the sound of that.
Evan stuck to his promise. One client even gave Evan a retainer in advance. A clever idea on their side too. As I’ll never ever forget that.
I am very proud to call each one of these “first” 5 clients my friends. Really good friends.
A special mention has to be given to David, his very smart and extremely intelligent wife Sue and their gorgeous 2 daughters. On one of his first business trips to Hong Kong for EorProperty they opened their home up to Evan.
Evan’s clients’ are discreet and private individuals who like to invest their money, their hard earned money privately and with discretion into property.
Hence, there was no flamboyant launch of the company. They told Evan that they wanted to keep their investments private to themselves and share with family and friends only. Not on the internet, not on websites , not on social media or in print press etc.
During those initial discussions Evan listened to what his “ New” clients said. And therefore cancelled his EorProperty website, all marketing, even all social media to honour their wishes. And to stay “low key” for their private benefit and wishes.
However, by using this unique style of running a property investment company unknowingly to Evan at the time a waiting list quickly grew for Evans advice.
Mainly from friends, family members and associates of the “first” five.
Personal “word of mouth” referrals everyone knows are the best.
Evan was living in Dublin, ireland at the time of his EorProperty idea. The cost of living in Dublin had spiralled and starting a new company with no guaranteed income was very worrying. It actually stopped him doing this many times before. The risk financially was huge. With mortgages and rent to pay he felt the risk was too high.
But Evan likes to think outside the box. As Dave would often say to him
“ Evo, go think outside the box on this problem and come back to me in your own time.”
I always did and between the two of us we always came up with a solution.
So thinking, Outside the box, Evan decided to move to Gran Cañaria Espana. A stunning island with all year sun and at a fraction of the living costs.
Also, and far more importantly his father Willie with his wife Helen and their dog Gozo have an apartment in Gran cañaría that they frequently visit. This allowed Evan and his Dad more time together, on beaches, walking, and dining out in lovely local restaurants. Quality time. Together.
Also for a few more reasons he chose Gran Cañaria ;
- The islands airport Las Palmas is a fantastic airport hub for international travel with flights into all main European cities. All year round.
- Gran Canaria had very cleverly started to promote the island for nomads. With fibre optic wifi Evan could work from there knowing he could always be in contact and stay in touch with his clients. Securely and without fear of losing “connection”.
But, staying in touch with clients was usually from a beach or swimming pool or his peaceful tranquilo balcony overlooking a golf course and Tauro beach.
And far more importantly not from a busy chaotic office based in a city. The difference this made was unreal.
Evan had a clearer mind, away from cities and the “rat race” and meetings for the sake of “meetings” and general “noise”.
Taking all these “distractions” away was truly a remarkable experience.
My clients loved it – “Where are you now Ev?” They asked me first of all on on calls.
“A beach, a pool or a sneeky trip to another country to inspect a property.”
Initial Investments for EorProperty were mainly in ireland with the exceptional aid of Jack Scales.
Jack Scales became a unique and integral part of eorproperty. He was based in ireland and had worked side by side, very successfully, with Evan for a few year on numerous property transactions.
Jack became Evans trusted “eyes and ears” to inspect properties on Evans and his clients’ behalf. When a property was identified by his clients’ and Jack as a “serious” consideration Evan always flew back to ireland and inspected that property personally. And reported directly back to them.
